CITIZENS FOR SUSTAINABLE PRDs AND ROADS (CSPRD)

This is a community website for the Fallbrook property owners who live in Permanent Road Division (“PRD”) 13A. This area in East Fallbrook comprises 350 properties.

We thought we had County-funded and maintained roads.

- WE DO NOT -

  • Most homeowners had no idea they were financially responsible for almost 6 miles of roadways.

  • Our concerns are about road maintenance and the impact to our property tax bills.

  • San Diego County is proposing a per-parcel property tax increase of up to $1,786/annually for each property owner to support the $6.8 million they say is now needed to repair PRD13A’s 5.77 miles of roadways

  • We believe the County has failed to comply with their end of the PRD Program

  • CSPRD was formed to address these issues

  • After contacting over a dozen individuals in many County agencies, the issues we face involve resolution of the past mismanagement while waiting for answers to our many questions about the special tax proposed by the Department of Public Works.
